On October 10th, 2017, the Air Force added the remnants of a MQ-1 predator drone to its crash training laboratory at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico. There, it will be used by students at the Air Force Safety Center as part of their studies in developing, implementing, evaluating and executing safety policies for the Air Force.
