On Wednesday, 2nd October 2024, Peter VK3PF, a radio amateur, from the Latrobe Valley east of Melbourne in Australia, reached the summit of Mt Wills in the East Gippsland region of the state of Victoria, Australia. He activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

Peter made 20 contacts from the summit working on the 40m and 10m amateur radio bands.
