After it was learned that this race track was built on top of a toxic waste dump, the EPA forced it to close in 1990. The 1/4 mile paved oval track opened in 1964.

I raced in a 3 hour enduro at this track in 1985. Finished 185 laps before my Malibu station wagon died in the infield after getting a few new quarts of oil.
