Originally planted by Boy Scouts in 1933, the Murrysville Arboreal Sign spells MURRYSVILLE in 836 spruce trees, is 150 feet tall and 800 feet wide, and was once the world's largest, although it is currently in a state of neglect. The bottom of the Y commemorates the site of the Haymaker Gas Well, which was once the world's largest.
