Namsate Vineyards
We at Namaste Vineyards believe that good wine is made in the vineyard. We allow the fruit to slowly mature to the highest quality. Our vineyard is located in the heart of Oregon's renowned Willamette Valley. We grow Chardonnay, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, and two different clones of Pinot Noir; our Abundance block which is Dijon 115 and our Prosperity block which is Pommard. All Namaste wines are made with estate grown fruit only. Work in the vineyard is done by hand, focusing on attention to details. Our vines were planted in 1980 - 1983 and we keep our crop loads down to around two tons an acre. Around color change, or verasion, we drop any fruit that isn't even or perfect. At harvest, workers are instructed to only take the fruit that is of the highest quality, and to leave the rest.
