Narjoe Timber

Narjoe Timber (Birds Eye)
When the Narjoe Timber & Supply Co. began operation and what it was originally named, is unclear. A history of Randall Brothers, Inc. states it was purchased during WW II when lumber was going to be in shortage due to rationing, lumber being a necessity to the company's survival, prompted the purchase.

Today the mill sells pressure treated and fire retardant lumber and is in very "out of place" surroundings. It stands next door to an area known as Atlantic Station. Where once stood steel mills is now upscale condos, stores, theatres and restaurants, no doubt making the mills property values increase. The mill is all that remains of this once industrialized area of Atlanta.
