Navatek II

Navatek II

Honolulu, Hawaii (HI), US
Navatek Ships was established in 1987 to oversee the construction of Pacific Marine’s first SWATH vessel -- the 16-knot, 140-foot, 400-passenger Navatek I, which was launched in February 1989.

For the development of a second generation of SWATH hull designs, Navatek entered a cooperation agreement with Lockheed Martin, which had 20 years of SWATH R&D as well as proprietary software for SWATH model testing and hull optimization. The result of that collaboration is Navatek II -- a 20-knot, 82-foot, 149-passenger vessel that offers tourist cruises out of Lahaina harbor on the island of Maui.
