North America's tallest flag pole

This 400 feet tall flag pole was built by Acuity Insurance and stands in front of the Acuity's headquarters.. It was dedicated on June 16, 2014. It is billed as the World's Tallest Symbol of Freedom.

Three other very tall flag poles have been built at Acuity since 2003. The others were located south of the headquarters, while this one is on the north end of the property. The other location is mapped on this site (see link below).

Its American flag measures 120 feet by 60 feet. The high-tech pole was created with 353,000 pounds of steel and was covered with over 500 gallons of paint.
