North Korean Skyscraper Complex "Pyonghattan"

In a portmonteau of Pyongyang and Manhattan, 'Pyonghattan' was opened in April 2017.

The 5,000 apartment complex includes one building towering over 770 feet.

North Korean officials claim the buildings 'incorporate latest architectural science as well as 'solar and geothermal technology', but reporters who were shown the apartments found the buildings did not have hot water.
