NGST's Chemistry facilities are part of the Mechanical Production Directorate. These facilities offer a full range of state-of-the-art equipment and instrumentation for analytical and research and development applications.

The chemistry facilities include a complete analytical chemistry laboratory located at NGST’s Space Park facility in Redondo Beach, a laboratory at NGST's Capistrano Test Site (CTS), and the Experimental Test Facility (ETF), at Space Park, for testing laser and propulsion systems.
