Old Tram

Old Tram (Google Maps)
No Thumbnail
In the Red Hook area of New York City you can see on a footpath a small single rail. This old rail would have been used by trams. The trams are sitting on the rail. Above the rail are a few original electric poles that would have held the wires to power the tram. The rails stops at both ends. One end at some old warehouses while the other side stops on the footpath.

The tram is located next to a modern café. Red Hook is an area that is currently under going changes to make it more modern. The tram has become a small landmark and fits in well with its environment.
