Orlando's replica of Statue of Liberty

Orlando, Florida (FL), US
NOT TO BE OUTDONE by New York City, Orlando also has a Statue of Liberty, and a refurbished bronze Lady Liberty at that. Orlando's version stands only eight feet tall, and beckons to whatever huddled masses might pass by the corner of Orange and Magnolia, where the scale-model replica of the Staten Island landmark has stood on the shores of Lake Ivanhoe for 33 years. Originally donated to the city by the Central Florida Council of the Boy Scouts of America, the Orlando statue underwent a complete overhaul after a local funeral director noticed that, just like the bigger version, the diminuitive lady needed repairs.

From poster: I moved away from Orlando as a small child and always remembered passing by this mini Statue of Liberty in my parents car but, as a child, never knew where exactly in Orlando it was, I only remembered it was by a highway overpass and a lake. I visited Orlando yesterday and had a major Deja-Vu moment when I saw it again after 37 long years (it seemed a lot bigger to me as a child LOL). the linked 1986 article said it had been there 33 years which means it was put there around 1953.
