Palacio de Navarra

The Palacio de Navarra has been the seat of Navarre’s foral institutions since it was built, between 1840 and 1851, in a Neo-classical style by José de Nagusia, being subsequently refurbished in 1932.

Located in the heart of Pamplona and flanked by the Plaza del Castillo and the Paseo de Sarasate, where the column stands that bears the Monument to the Fueros of Navarre, the building is part of the landscape in the city’s historical centre.

The Palace houses a valuable collection of works of art by such artists as Goya, Rubens, Madrazo and Gustavo de Maeztu, which may be viewed on this website through a tour of the building’s halls and offices and which will furthermore explain its history, its precise location and even allow for arranging a personal visit.
