Coulson is an Irish investor, ranked as the 65th richest person in Ireland (as of 2010). He's probably best known for his Ardagh involvement, a glass bottling firm, which he sold in 2006 for €412M. He has an extraordinarily diverse portfolio, with property, shares and art.
