In 1974, Paul D. Kaneb acquired the George E. Warren Corporation after selling Union Petroleum Corporation to Coastal Corporation in 1973. He transformed the business to a heating oil and gasoline trading and distribution company.
He has homes in Vero Beach, North Palm Beach and Boston.
