On Sunday 5th March 2023, Jose EA7GV, a radio amateur from Poland reached the summit of Peña de la Cruz and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 13 contacts in total working on the 40 and 30 metre HF amateur radio bands.
