ARDEC Engineers perform work in basic sciences, engineering development, producibility, production, field support, and demilitarization. ARDEC is the Army executive agent for research and development (R&D) for pollution prevention. With an annual budget between one and two billion dollars, ARDEC employs 3,750 people at Picatinny.
