On Thursday 7th July Scott K2CPT a radio amateur from Pottersvile, NY reached the summit of Pico Peak and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 10 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
