On Saturday, 3rd August 2024, Christian HB9GIN/P & Manuel HB9DQM/P, two radio amateurs, from Switzerland, reached the summit of Piz Grialetsch in the Graubünden Canton of Switzerland. They activated the summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.


They made 71 contacts in total working on the 2m, 40m, 30m and 20m amateur radio bands.

The summit of Piz Grialetsch is 3131 metres (10272 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
