Pljevlja Power Station is the only coal-fired power station in Montenegro. It went in service in 1982 and has a generation capacity of 210 MW. It produces about 1/3 of the electricity of Montenegro. The chimney of Pljevlja Power Station is the tallest man-made object in Montenegro and 250 metres tall.
