The 1992 model year saw the replacement of the RS performance trim of the Plymouth Sundance with the "Duster", reviving the name of a muscle car produced from 1970 to 1976. Models coming with the 3.0 liter V6 were praised for their performance relative to cost, barely more than a base model, even though critics derided how the historic nameplate was revived on a compact. This rebadged Dodge Shadow sport compact would eventually be produced until 1994.

I'm pretty sure this was my car. I moved from Louisiana to Lawrenceburg Indiana back in 1996, only stayed about a year, then left this car with my then wife who wrecked it and abandoned it.
