ARCA (Automobile Racing Club of America) is a stock car racing series which features a mix of young drivers hoping to advance their career to NASCAR and older veteran drivers. The series races on superspeedways, short tracks, road courses, and dirt oval tracks. Many of their events are held on the same weekend as NASCAR or IndyCar events.
Pocono Raceway is a 2.5 mile triangular oval track which has operated since 1971. It is a staple on the NASCAR and ARCA calendars and recently welcomed back the IndyCar series after a 24-year absence.
