That's the U.S. Navy's training center at Dam Neck, Virginia. They teach fire control and radar related repair and maintenance courses there. It is also the host base for the Navy & Marine Corps Intelligence Training Center (NMITC), the schoolhouse for Navy and USMC intel folks.

You might have noticed that many of the streets bear the names of missile systems: Polaris, Tartar, Talos, Terrier, Regulus, Bullpup, etc.

Evidently, the Navy decided they didn't like having a "Bird's Eye" view of their base. It's no longer available in any resolution close to what is shown in the thumbnail.

Still there as far as I can tell. I just tried it. the first time it failed. I went out to the west and slipped in facing East and it went OK. Then I tried the original link again and it worked.

LL has been flakey today. This morning Pacific Time it was down completely. Maybe they are making some changes.

Lots of BEV links seem to be broken right now.
