On Sunday 17th July 2022 Christian N1CLC a radio amateur from San Diego, CA reached the summit of Pole Knoll and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 35 contacts in total working on the 20, 17 and 15 metre HF amateur radio bands.
The summit of Pole Knoll is 2985 metres (9793 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
