The Macclesfield Canal Pool Lock Aqueduct and Footbridge is an English National Heritage Grade Listed Building (List Entry #1188456).

Pool Lock Aqueduct carries the Macclesfield Canal over the Trent and Mersey Canal to the northwest of the Staffordshire town of Kidsgrove.

The aqueduct was built in 1828 from Red Brick with a stone parapet string and stone coped parapet. The arch spanning the Trent and Mersey Canal has a rusticated ashlar surround.

Above the segmental arch over the Trent and Mersey Canal there is a stone panel on which are inscribed the name of the aqueduct and the year that it was built in Roman numerals (MDCCXXVII i.e., 1828). The Macclesfield Canal was opened 3 years after the completion of the aqueduct in 1831.
