Looking a lot like the recently-discovered Kebira Crater, which due to size and age was only identifiable with satellite imagery, this crater, if it is a crater, is 10 km wide. This would make it around the 6th largest crater in the Sahara.

Well, Dr. El-Baz at BU wrote back to me and told me this is a known volcanic structure. So, no impact crater.
