On Friday, 2nd August 2024, Mario IZ1CYF/P & Claudio IZ1DME/P, two radio amateurs, from Italy, reached the summit of Punta Tempesta in the Piemonte region of Italy. They activated the summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.


They made 53 contacts in total working on the 2m, 40m and 20m amateur radio bands.
