If you feel like giving up trade secrets, would you mind detailing what photo-correction steps you take to produce such a clear image from such an extreme zoom?

They likely use Google Earth, where you can get 1-2 levels of zoom better than you can in G-Maps on the really detailed images.

Yes the thumbnail should have the Google Earth icon on it. Or Add a new Thumbnail category for Google Earth only...

Except this is not what that is for. The GE icon is for when things are in high rez in GE, but low rez in GM. In this particular case you case still see the guy in GM, it just takes GE to get the super high rez thumb.
