On Sunday 31st July 2022 Ioanna SV4SWQ/P a radio amateur from Greece reached the summit of Pyrgos and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
Ioanna made 28 contacts in total working on the 20 metre HF amateur radio band.
The summit of Pyrgos is 2151 metres (7057 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA groups database.
