This NASCAR sanctioned 1/4 mile oval track opened in 1956. Several classes of stock cars raced here weekly. Several novelty events throughout the year kept the fans entertained, including school bus races, trailer races, enduros, powder puff, and figure 8 races.

The track closed after the 2013 racing season. It was torn down and an asphalt recycling business opened on this land.
