WWII memorial for Allied Soldiers killed during en:Exercise Tiger. The tank was raised from the sea bed in 1984.

Exercise Tiger was the code name for a full-scale rehearsal in 1944 for the D-Day invasion of Normandy. During the exercise, an Allied convoy was attacked, resulting in the deaths of 749 American servicemen.
