El Gouna is a resort town located on the Red Sea. The resort was developed in 1990 and is owned by the Sawiris' Family and Orascom Hotels and Development. The resort is home to 18 hotels, a fully equipped hospital, an international school and a Egyptian Premier League team, El Gouna FC.
