Reggie White (12/19/1961-12/26/2004), aka "the Minister of Defense" was a NFL Hall of Fame defensive end as well as an ordained Baptist minister. Reggie played college football at the University of Tennessee before being signed by the USFL's Memphis Showboats. After the USFL folded White was signed by the Philadelphia Eagles where he played for eight seasons. White signed with the Green Bay Packers as a free agent in 1993 and won a superbowl with them in 1997. White played one year for the Carolina Panthers before he retired in 2000 as the NFL's all-time sack leader. The record has since been surpassed by Bruce Smith.
