There are a few Reindeer Lakes in Alaska. This one, about 315 miles from Anchorage, is located in the Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, about ten miles east of (the Alaskan native village of) Holy Cross. The Reindeer River flows into the lake which flows into the Paimiut Slough which flows into the mighty Yukon.
