This isn't called Ken's Erection, it's called Rex's Erection after the televangelist Rex Humbard who built it. Originally, it was going to be a revolving restaurant, but financial troubles and building errors plagued the construction. Nowadays, it serves as a cellular tower and a broadcast antenna for Earnest Angely, another televangelist.

Actually, Ernest Angley never owned that concrete tower or used it as a broadcast tower. The concrete tower is used for cellular communications and is owned by Kreiger Communications. Ernest Angley only owns the church next to it and an office complex near it.
