The old graveyard of Balquhidder is a small cemetery surrounded by a round wall and has a small ruined church standing in it. The cemetery is located slighty further up the road from the new and modern one. This cemetery no longer takes burials. The cemetery is most known for having the burial of Rob Roy MacGregor who was a Scottish outlaw and folk hero from the Clan MacGregor. He is buried next to his wife and two sons.

Other members of the clan are buried elswhere but the clan also has a clan burial ground at Loch Katrine and nerby the same loch they have a burial ground for their chiefs.
