Robert Leroy Johnson (5/8/1911 – 8/16/1938) was a mythical American blues singer, song writer and musician from Hazelhurst, Mississippi.

Johnson's music and guitar playing style influenced many musicians who came after him. Eric Clapton called Johnson the most important blues singer who ever lived.
