Roger Waters' House

Roger Waters' House

Bridgehampton, New York (NY), US
The former Pink Floyd frontman purchased this property in 2010 for $16.2 million. He tore down the classic 1900 Hampton home and built this one in its place.

His Manhattan townhouse is also featured on this site (VG link below).

I was going to query why Roger Waters tore down a historic American home to build in its place a new one, but I already know the answer. Because he could.

I wonder why Roger refers to the Pigs as the elite who rule the world but I see he does not have a normal size house so he in fact is one of those elites is he not.

Pretty sure Waters doesn't rule the world, despite being very wealthy. I wish he did though...

I also would love to see if roger still plays Pigs and uses his White House thrashing like he did when trump was in office then we will truly find out of roger is truly anti establishment if he has the balls to treat biden like he did trump

Love his music and the depth of his lyrics, but not sure I’m in the “he should be our King” camp.

To the person who posted about his “White House” bashing on Animals, it wasn’t the US presidential residence he was talking about on Pigs. He was referring to Mary Whitehouse who was - well, just look her up if your curious. She was a staunch British conservative in the 70’s who Roger hated at the time.

To the person who enlightened us about Pigs and Mary Whitehouse, everyone knows that. Also everyone knows that he twisted and reinterpreted that song to bash Trump on his tour. When he sings "Whitehouse", the US Whitehouse pops up on screen. Have not seen his shows?

Well we saw him last night in Raleigh and it was fantastic, as was the message. I wish I could ask him, however, why he does live in an average size home? I am a little disappointed to learn about this home.

I use to think I was more of a Waters fan than I am. While he is clearly a brilliant musician, his ego has far surpassed even that , and I find it hard to stomach him anymore. I’ll always love his music, but I will no longer contribute to his hypocrisy by giving him another dime of my hard earned pheasant money. Caught Gilmore at MSG a couple years back. I’ll definitely catch him again if he comes to town.

While I will forever love The Floyd, Roger Waters is the antithesis of his political rantings! At a net worth of over $310M, substantial property holdings (including part of an island with other elites), I'd say he's well heeled in being a Pig.
