Lyon's Gallo-Roman Theaters were built in times of Emperor Augustus, around 17-15 BC. There is the big theater, with 11,000 seats and a smaller one, the Odeon; which some experts say it used to be roofed.
Classical, rock and popular music performances take place here during the summer season.
