In September 2005, Italian programmer Luca Mori used Google Earth to view the area around his home, and discovered strange shapes in nearby fields. After consulting with archaeologists, the site was discovered to be an ancient Roman villa built on the bend of an ancient river.

The google map is pretty cool! But I'm a little confused... the news.google.com http above shows absolutely nothing having to do with the Roman ruins in the fields of Italy.
