Rose Wilder Lane's House (former)

The journalist, travel writer, novelist, and political theorist lived here until her death in 1968. Although her mother, Laura Ingalls Wilder, is now the better known writer, her accomplishments remain remarkable. She is noted (with Ayn Rand and Isabel Paterson) as one of the founding mothers of the American libertarian movement and is also considered one of the seminal forces behind the American Libertarian Party.
