Centralia, Illinois, was historically a significant Illinois Central Railroad hub with a large roundhouse, crucial for servicing locomotives. Oddly, Wikipedia claims the entire roundhouse was demolished in 2021, yet the 2026 Google Street and Sat images show that this is far from the truth.
