Actually, In BEV, it appears to be an airport. In LL, the map appears to be censored to me. Eldon Edwards. ELDONEDW@aol.com

In LL this is how this provider of imagery does a lot of its censorship. It isn't actually a lake, it is trees. They cut and paste (quite clumsily) forests or farmers fields from other locations to cover up areas that they wish to censor. There are many examples in our database. Go to Italy and look at almost ant oil refinery, military base, air force runway, or Naval base (Taranto is a very good example.) They are so clumsy at it that I found lots of very neat BEV sites by scanning the LL imagery for solid patches of trees that were slightly off color from the rest of the trees. Zoom and an flip to BEV and there are great sites to explore.
