Blackbushe Airport was used to film many of the race track scenes in the 2013 film "Rush", directed and co-produced by Ron Howard. The film follows the story of the 1976 Formula One season and the rivalry between Niki Lauda (Daniel Brühl) and James Hunt (Chris Hemsworth). This set served as the pit area for several races.
