They also founded Convalescent Services Inc., which owned 25 nursing homes when they sold it. They have been in litigation over the deal since about 2004.

His brother personally approved the $400 million in loans Bernie Ebbers took from the company, and he illegally took personal use of the company jet.

His nephew is CEO of Restore Health Group.
