Also called the second Sagrada Família, this imposing modernist temple was designed by Josep Maria Jujol, a collaborator of Gaudí. Construction of the sanctuary of the Mare de Déu de Montserrat was started in 1925 but the works stopped in 1931 and were only completed in 1999.
