Segment of Berlin Wall in Madrid

Three sections of the Berlin Wall are placed within the "Parque de Berlín" (Berlin Park), in the district of Chamartín in Madrid, Spain; they are located in the center of a fountain/pond, in the north-eastern corner of the park. As stated in an accompanying plaque they are a present from the City of Berlin to the City of Madrid and were inaugurated in November 9, 1990 (first anniversary of the the fall).
