While living in the guest house of his mothers home Larry Bright murdered eight Female African-American prostitutes in 2003 and 2004, burned their bodies and buried the bodies in the yard. He lured women from the nearby mission with promises of drugs and alcohol. His preferred method of killing was strangulation but also admitted to overdosing a one of them with cocaine.

He was arrested in January of 2005.
