Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani was the ruling Emir of Qatar from 1995 to 2013. He purchased "Dudley House" in 2006 for £37.4m and has invested another £75m to renovate the 44,000 sq ft property. The 185-year-old mansion features 17 bedrooms, 14 reception rooms, a 50ft ballroom, an 81ft picture gallery and furniture which on its own is said to be worth £100m.
