Sighișoara - Trnava Mare (YOFF-0408)

On Saturday 30th March 2024 at 13:03 UTC, Ed DK1WI, a radio amateur from Germany, made contact with Zsolt YO/HA8FY/P, a radio amateur from Hungary, who was operating from Sighișoara - Trnava Mare (YOFF-0408), on the 20m amateur radio band. Zsolt made a total of 109 contacts while at the reserve.

Sighișoara - Trnava Mare (YOFF-0408), is a protected area of 89,265 hectares located in central Romania to the south of Sighișoara. It was designated in 2009 as a Sites of Community Importance under the EU's Habitats Directive and is part of the Natura 2000 network.

The Natura 2000 network aims to protect many of Europe's most vulnerable and threatened habitats and species.
